Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will oversee Hospital Information Systems and ensure optimal performance of the Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS). Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with radiologists, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Your contributions will streamline data management and integrate new digital workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain hospital imaging systems and PACS
• Support staff with PACS applications and imaging workflows
• Collaborate with radiologists to create efficient reporting protocols
• Ensure system compliance with privacy regulations and legislation
• Participate in the development of operating procedures for PACS
Requirements:
• Registered Medical Radiation Imaging Technologist or similar degree
• PACS Administrator or System Analyst Certification required
• Minimum 5 years PACS/RIS experience in Diagnostic Imaging
• Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
