Description Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Airdrie, ABEmployment: Temp (3-6 months)Industry: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing

Compensation: $20/hr.

Schedule: 40 hours/week

About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position provides support to the assembly areas by replenishing products, receiving inbound materials, picking specific customer orders, and resolving count discrepancies.

All employees will be rotated through all job functions within the Warehouse.

Sound like a positive fit?APPLY TODAYWhat You''ll Do: Receive incoming stock parts on the dock, relocate them and ensure they are allocated to proper bin locations.

Verify that part numbers of match packing slips and that quantities are correct.

Pick and count material of various weights and sizes accurately using a handheld scanner.

Package and load material to ensure end-user satisfaction.

Support and assist team members with various tasks throughout the warehouse.

Operate lift equipment safely to move material in and out of high bay racking and around the plant.

Material Handlers will drive a variety of machinery including counterbalance, reach truck and order picker.

Perform cycle counts and audits where necessary.

Work with management team and coworkers to create a safety first and continuous improvement culture.

Solve routine warehouse problems.

Pick, pack, move, put away, wrap and load skids of various dimensions and weights.

Job Requirements What You''ll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of warehouse material handling or shipping experience.

What Sets You Apart: Forklift experience.

Prior experience on truck loading principles.

Exposure to inventory software.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/changing environment.

Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to work within teams/groups and work with all levels of the organization.

Good PC skills, including MS Outlook and the use of RF Scanners.

Effective time management.
