Requirements: 1 year of security experience, w/ preferably in a Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, Gov''t environment, and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement

Education background in law enforcement, such as Police Foundation/Criminology/Protection Security and Investigation is an asset.

Valid Ontario Security License & Valid Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AEDComfort with two-way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV software

Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy

Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment

Punctuality & Able to stand/patrol up for up to 12 hours.





Strong ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.

Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code, and 494(c)Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills

Ability to conduct arrests within appropriate and sanctioned situations.
