Thyssen Mining is currently seeking experienced, safety-conscious Underground Miners to join our team at mining projects across Ontario. Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting underground development, production, and construction activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workpersonship.

Key Responsibilities Perform underground mining activities in accordance with mine plans, procedures, and safety standards.
Install and maintain ground support systems, including rock bolts, mesh, and screen.
Conduct scaling and workplace inspections.
Operate underground mining equipment as required and qualified.
Perform pre-operational inspections and report equipment deficiencies.
Handle and transport materials, tools, and supplies underground.
Identify, report, and address workplace hazards.
Work effectively as part of a crew to achieve production and development targets.
Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
Qualifications Minimum 2 years of underground mining experience preferred.
Experience in underground development, production, or construction mining.
Strong commitment to health, safety,
and environmental practices.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in an underground environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Valid driver''s licence.
Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core and specialty modules are considered an asset.
First Aid certification is considered an asset.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug & Alcohol test.

FIFO & Rotation Requirements Successful applicants must be willing to:
Work rotational schedules such as 14/14
Travel to and from designated departure points
Work at remote mine sites across Ontario
Live in a camp environment when required
