Position Summary
Kiewit is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic Journeyman for the Mayo Project in the Yukon.

Position Requirements

Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Journeyman Red Seal

Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance

Driver's license, and clean Driver's Abstract

Compensation And Shift Details

Base wage: $47.80 per hour (paid weekly)

20/0 Rotation

Camp job

Qualifications

May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.

Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

Proficient in the safe and productive use of electrical, hand tools,



power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools

Additional Information

Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test

Must be compliant with Kiewit Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies
