We’re looking for Machine Vision Developer to join our Technical Application Development team within our Winnipeg Office.
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Application Development, this permanent full-time position is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing software applications and specialized programming solutions, with a primary focus on machine vision and camera-based technologies. The successful candidate will analyze user requirements, design and implement systems of varying complexity, and identify opportunities to improve business processes through innovative technical solutions.

What You’ll Do Deliver fully functional and tested applications that meet all business and customer requirements
Ensure clear and effective training is delivered to MSG/SME in the use of TAD applications Meet development targets ensuring project deadlines are met
Contribute to research, development and continuous improve software to meet the future needs of the business




Work with vendors sourcing and testing new hardware
Work with engineering team on integrating camera and scanning technology with a line
Who You Are High technical aptitude; technical knowledge regarding hardware devices, operating systems and applications
Software development life cycles
Project Management principles
In depth knowledge/understanding of multiple programming languages; C#
Software configuration
Relational database concepts and SQL language (MySQL and asset)
Diagnosing hardware issues such as signal noise, dropping of frames
