Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
This is a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced custom design solid surfacing facility. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar general labour role, experience using a variety of hand, power, and measurement tools in a production workplace. We are looking for candidates who can interview at our office in Burlington and start as soon as possible!
Job Duties:
- Use of hand tools, measuring devices, drills, and other power tools
- Using orbital sanders to polish countertops
- Loading and unloading custom pieces
- Packing finished product and building skids for shipment
- Lifting 50-60lbs consistently throughout your shift
- Other labour tasks as assigned
Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environment
- Experience with hand and measurement tools - wrenches, screwdrivers, measuring tape, power tools, etc.
- Comfortable lifting 50-60lbs repetitively
- CSA Safety Shoes Required
- Must be willing to provide a criminal record search
