BRIGHTER FUTURES WORKER One (1) Casual Position in Hearst As a member of the Brighter Futures team, the successful candidate will be required to facilitate topics either in a group setting or on an individual basis will include life skills, living skills, parenting, prenatal, nutrition, health, safety, leisure housing, breastfeeding, labour and delivery and other topics relevant to the philosophy and goals of the Brighter Futures program.

Worker will promote the services of the Agency and the programs to the participants and general public.

Job Requirements (qualifications And Skills)

- A Social Service Worker diploma or post-secondary education in the Human Services discipline.
- Knowledge of child development, neglect and child abuse along with the duty to report.
- Knowledge of parenting issues, lifestyles, and prevention and intervention techniques.
- Excellent group facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Bilingualism is required (English/French).
- Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license at the time of application and be willing to obtain a valid G Class driver’s license as a condition of employment or already possess a valid G Class driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle.
