Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as an ABA Therapist and become a vital part of transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions! In this role, you will work directly with children and young adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), implementing personalized therapy plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy plans designed by supervising clinicians to support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect and analyze data on client progress during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments
- Engage clients in motivating activities that promote communication, social skills, daily living, and adaptive behaviors
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and reinforce learning across environments
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and behavioral data in compliance with agency standards
- Foster a positive,
encouraging atmosphere that motivates clients to participate actively in their therapy sessions
- Attend regular supervision meetings and training sessions to enhance your therapeutic techniques and stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certification in behavior analysis is a plus
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training provided for new therapists
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate attitude toward clients and families
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and accurately record behavioral data
- Energetic, motivated, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including afternoons or weekends if needed
