Utilizing this new class of chips enables existing optical interconnect systems to be built at much lower cost; new architectures to be deployed that provide significantly higher price/performance; and a whole recent generation of higher speed interconnect to be built that to date have been impossible.

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and responsiveness matter.

Key Responsibilities - Own and manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong follow-up.

- Record AP transactions, bank entries, and credit card entries.
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly HST remittances.
- Assist with month-end close activities,



including journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Support year-end audit requests and prepare supporting documentation for tax filing.
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects, including ERP implementation and process improvements.
- Partner with internal teams to help maintain organized, accurate, and efficient financial records.

Qualifications - University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

- 1-3 years of experience in high-volume Accounts Payable and month-end close; AR experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative.
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Epicor, or similar systems.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
