ADDICTIONS SUPPORT SERVICES EMPLOYEE
Prince Albert Grand Council is seeking a compassionate and dependable Addictions Support Services Employee for its Sober Living Program. Reporting to the Program Lead/Support Services Coordinator, this position provides direct support to adults in recovery and helps maintain a protected, respectful, and recovery-focused residence. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, dependable professional who is committed to wellness, recovery, and culturally safe support services.
Qualifications Include
- Grade 12 or equivalent (post-secondary human services education is an asset)
- Experience in recovery, addictions, mental health, or residential support settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, de-escalation skills and client-centred service delivery
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries,
exercise sound judgement, and respond effectively to challenging or crisis situations.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and current First Aid/CPR (or ability to obtain)
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and community-based healing approaches is an asset
- Ability to work shifts
