This position is reserved for Inuit/JBNQA beneficiary who resides in the community.

- Schedule patient appointments with physicians using the computer system and according to established procedures, including various priorities;
- Obtain the required medical records for appointments or as requested by physicians through the computer system;
- Obtain pharmacy medical profiles for all appointments with physicians;
- Ensure that patient information is always up to date in their files. Notify relevant parties of any changes;
- Prepare the examination room;
- Check that all equipment in the examination rooms is functioning properly;
- Receive and make calls, receive and send information via fax, email, mail, make photocopies, etc.;
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained;
- Occasionally work at the dental reception;
- Perform translation and interpretation tasks when requested;
- Carry out any other related duties.
- Tasks may be required to change significantly during the assignment.
Exigences spécifiques/Specific Requirements
- High school diploma;
- Diploma in secretarial studies (and/or medical secretarial) would be a major asset;
- Essential bilingualism (English and Inuktitut), spoken and written. Knowledge of French is an asset;
- Two years of relevant experience as a secretary would be a major asset;
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Windows software; experience with Logibec is an asset;
- Autonomy, initiative, and a sense of responsibility;
- High level of discretion and positive decision-making skills.
