Fonctions Spécifiques/Specific functions The Community Liaison Wellness Worker (CLWW) participates in seeking creative, community-based and Inuit-appropriate strategies to prevent targeted health and social problems and to promote healthy lifestyles and overall wellness of the population. The CLWW plays a central role of liaison between Tulattavik Health Center and community partners as well as community members.
Exigences spécifiques/Specific Requirements
- Must hold a Secondary V Diploma or equivalent
- Be fluent in Inuktitut and/or be a person of Inuit ancestry; knowledge of English, spoken and written; knowledge of French would be an asset; be knowledgeable of Inuit customs, beliefs and traditions
- Must be able to plan, elaborate and evaluate programs, and organize projects
- Must be able to draft reports
- Must be perceived as a positive role model within the community
- Be sensitive, understanding and mature
- Display a positive attitude and a excellent sense of responsibility
- Able to travel and to participate in different training sessions
- Able to work autonomously as well as with others.
- Experience in community development
