Position: Air Import/Export Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Working within our existing airfreight team, handling both air imports and exports
- Responsible for all freight forwarding aspects of coordinating inbound and outbound air shipments
- Document preparation to facilitate freight movement
- Securing bookings with airlines
- Responsible for both eManifest and CAED declarations
- Creation of client freight invoices as well as cost allocation for each shipment
- Tracing cargo and providing shipment updates to clients
- Communicating with external vendors, suppliers, customs brokers and agents for the seamless movement of cargo
- Providing superior service to customers in all aspects of air imports and exports
- Arrange collection and transportation of goods
Qualifications:
- Two to three years relevant airfreight handling experience required
- Ability to handle large volumes of work accurately
- Strong organizational skills
- Solid problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize work & time management skills
- Effective communication skills essential
- Strong keyboarding skills required as well a proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON
