Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance on aircraft under the direction of an Avionics Lead Hand
- Perform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable airworthiness standards
- Complete all paperwork for assigned tasks in an accurate and timely matter
- Proper use of PPE equipment and recognizing safety as a number one priority
- General Hangar cleanup and organization
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Completion of Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance program
- General understanding of electrical systems and ability to understand appropriate manuals, schematics, and technical information necessary to perform duties
- Must have own basic toolbox & tools
- Ability to take initiative, take direction and learn quickly
- Multitasking and flexibility abilities
- Mechanically inclined,
ability to work with your hands
- Computer knowledge
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Physically fit, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as climb, kneel, and work frequently in tight spaces.
- Previous aviation experience on S-61 and S-76 is an asset
- Must pass Controlled Goods Assessment
Working Conditions:
- Position is Hangar based but applicant must be willing to travel if required.
- Normal shift is Mon-Fri 8hours/day; Willing to work overtime or unusual shifts, as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:
- Avionics: 4 years (preferred)
- S-61 or S-76: 1 year (required)
