Advanced Mechanical Ltd. is a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial and multi-family plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. We are looking for motivated 1st and 2nd Year Plumbing Apprentices who are eager to learn, develop their skills, and build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyperson Plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Install DWV, domestic water, storm, and hydronic piping under supervision.
- Assist with rough-in and finishing work on commercial and multi-family construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings with guidance.
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble various types of piping.
- Install plumbing fixtures and equipment.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow WorkSafeBC safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Complete other duties assigned by the Site Foreman or Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Registered as a 1st or 2nd Year Plumbing Apprentice (or eligible to register).
- Previous construction or plumbing experience.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence and reliable transportation are considered assets.
