Job Location : Mississauga, Ontario

Experience : 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Own Tools/Equipment : Steel-Toed Safety Boots

Work Environment/Conditions : Field Work (in all weather conditions), Work Environment Exposes the Employee to High Levels of Noise, Grease, and Dust that is Typically Associated with a Construction Site

Physical Capabilities : Physically Demanding; Lifting, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with an asphalt crew, poses strong communication skills, a high level of enthusiasm,



enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities As an Asphalt Laborer, you will play a critical role in supporting and assisting the construction team with achieving their business objectives with the following responsibilities:

- Assist Foreman/Operators whenever needed
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
- Load or unload construction materials
- Operate and care for construction equipment
- Put together and take apart temporary structures
- Remove, move, fill, or compact earth, debris, asphalt and/or concrete
- Perform site clean-up
- Follow instructions from Supervisor(s)
- Follow all company health and safety requirements
- Work as a team member and communicate respectfully with coworkers

Requirements

- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels
- Physically able to lift up to 50-80 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime
