Outdoor Living Manufacturing is looking for an experienced assistant controller to assist with accounting functions for our production facility in Penticton. This is a adaptable work environment for the right individual.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Recording: Reconcile bank statements, post journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledgers.
- Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Compliance & Tax: Prepare and file PST/GST, payroll taxes, and assist with year-end tax preparation.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoicing, expense reports, and vendor payments.
- System Maintenance: Continuous process improvement and internal control procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
- CPA Accounting Designation Required
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel ,
accounting software and ERP systems
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
This job operates in an office/manufacturing environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Working overtime or/on weekends may be necessary.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
