The Role

- To work under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified service.
- Implement, adapt and progress treatment programmes within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
- Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient centred programmes across a variety of clinical settings.
- Discharge or transition care within agreed protocols and defined parameters.

Duties may vary depending on the care group / department or assigned area of work. The working pattern for this role is week days.

In This Key Role, You Will

- Responsible for a delegated clinical caseload of patients whose treatment follows clearly defined parameters.
- Assess, implement, progress treatment and discharge in accordance with agreed protocols and parameters.
- Plan and prioritise delegated patient caseload.
- Plan and organise a range of therapeutic activities/clinics




- Deliver prescribed education sessions including patient/carer advice to selected groups of patients.

What You'll Bring

- HNC in healthcare, education or social cares or SVQ III in healthcare, education or social care or equivalent experience in a health, education or social care workplace.
- Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
- Knowledge of the therapeutic process, techniques and / or activities relevant to client group.
- Basic assessment skills.
- Ability to apply a range of technical and practical rehabilitation skills.
