RBC Dominion Securities (“RBC DS”) branch located in Windsor is looking for an experienced Associate Investment Advisor or Associate Advisor to join a Premier advisory team by providing exceptional client service as well as investment, wealth management and administrative support. Candidates must have at least 5‑10 years of experience in the investment field.
Responsibilities
- Provide world‑class client service to valued clients.
- Enhance client relationships by executing the investment and wealth strategies of the IA and engaging the team’s financial planning and wealth management resources.
- Communicate effectively with clients in written and verbal form, via phone, e‑mail, and in person.
- Use the contact management system for daily task management.
- Conduct investment research, analysis, and analytics.
- Support trade execution as needed.
- Identify new business opportunities and assist the IA in developing the team’s investment strategy for clients.
- Assist with event planning.
Qualifications
Must‑have
- At least 5 years of experience in the investment field.
- CIRO licensed as a Registered Representative (RR)
or equivalent CIRO licensing courses.
- Exceptional verbal and written English skills – excellent telephone communicator.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited postsecondary institution.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and adapt priorities as required.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Legal ability to work in Canada.
- Position requires work from office.
Nice to have
- Finance, economics or business degree.
- Other professional investment industry designations such as CFP.
