Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Audio Visual Rental Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, maintaining, and disassembling a wide range of audio visual equipment used for events, conferences, and corporate functions. Your expertise will ensure seamless setup and operation of AV systems, delivering exceptional experiences for clients and event attendees.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and install audio visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, lighting, and video conferencing tools according to schematics and client specifications
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues promptly to minimize downtime during events
- Conduct routine maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Disassemble and pack equipment safely after events,
maintaining inventory accuracy
- Perform regular inspections of low voltage wiring, electrical connections, and mechanical components to identify potential issues before they impact operations
- Loading and unloading audiovisual equipment into and out of company vehicles.
- Delivery and pickup of audiovisual equipment.
- The setup and dismantling of a wide variety of audiovisual equipment including computer and video projection equipment, sound reinforcement equipment, audio and video recording equipment.
- Cleaning equipment with approved methods and examining the equipment to ensure its functionality prior to it being placed back into its proper place in the warehouse.
- Overtime as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools necessary for assembly, repair, and maintenance of AV equipment
- Knowledge of AV and computer hardware components and software troubleshooting techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment schematics, mechanical parts, and assembly procedures
- Prior experience in Audio Visual environments is highly desirable
