As an Avalanche Technician, you will support safety initiatives across various departments. Expect to perform tasks such as conducting daily weather observations, snowpack assessments, and assisting with avalanche training for patrol staff while ensuring the safety of all guests and staff. Key Responsibilities:

- Complete daily weather observations and data forwarding
- Maintain and calibrate weather-reading equipment




- Tour Snowshoe Park to maintain markings and signage
- Aid in avalanche control and execute ski cutting techniques
- Organize community events like Avalanche Awareness Days Requirements:
- 80 Hour first aid certification (e.g., Occupational First Aid Level 3)
- Canadian Avalanche Association Operations Level 1 certified
- Expert in ski touring across various terrains
- Robust skills in risk management
