Job Overview

We are looking for qualified drivers to join our team driving late model Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks. This position is for A/Z drivers and they will be driving either an end dump or a dump truck and pup. All trucks have manual transmissions. Flat bed experience is also an asset.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate AZ-end dump trucks to transport bulk materials such as gravel, sand, or soil to designated locations.

- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking hydraulic systems, brakes, lights, and tires.

- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs.

- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep equipment in optimal condition.

Requirements





- Valid AZ (or equivalent) commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Proven experience operating end dump trucks or similar heavy equipment in a commercial setting.

- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation.

- Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting minor issues.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

- Must be proficient shifting manual transmissions. Primarily 18 speed.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
