As a CGM Lawn Care & Landscaping team member, we expect you to work hard, be secure and take pride in the quality of work you produce. The AZ Truck Driver position is a crucial part of our landscaping operations. This role places a great emphasis on safety.

Part-time and full-time opportunities are available for this role.

Job duties and responsibilities of the AZ Truck Driver role include, but are not limited to:

1. Operating and transporting the company water truck safely to residential and commercial properties and job sites across Windsor-Essex. Typical jobs that the AZ Truck Driver would be responsible for operating the company water truck on include but are not limited to watering lawns and filling pools.
2. Performing pre- and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of vehicle.
3. Completing and maintaining accurate daily inspection reports and logs.
4. Following Ministry of Transportation regulations as well as highway regulations and laws at all times.
5.



Collaborating and communicating with CGM Lawn Care & Lanscaping supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations as it relates to transporting and operating the company water truck on job sites.
6. Wearing personal protective equipment including but not limited to a hard hat, safety vest and steel toe safety shoes.
7. Troubleshooting company water truck maintenance at a basic level and reporting maintenance concerns that may arise.
8. Other related, special duties as assigned.
9. Operating all company vehicles and equipment safely.
10. Ensuring the company policy and code of conduct are consistently being followed along with maintaining company vehicles, equipment, supplies, and tools.
11. Reporting all issues and concerns identified while performing job duties to the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications · Minimum 1 year of experience driving a truck.

· Must possess a valid AZ Driver’s License issued by the Ministry of Transportation with a clean driver’s abstract.

· Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and ability to report any maintenance concerns that arise.

· Ability to listen, read and interpret instructions from supervisors and management.

· Reliable and diligent worker with exceptional time management skills.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Commitment to safety, quality and efficiency.

· Must possess a cell phone and steel toe safety shoes.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

· Must be willing to have versatile working hours (Monday-Saturday) with occasional Sundays. All work is weather permitting and hours may vary depending on the season.

· Must enjoy working outdoors in various conditions including, heat and humidity and rain.

· Must have reliable transportation to the company location.

Rate of Pay: $25/hour minimum depending on experience
