About This Opportunity Join our team as a Back‑to‑School Drive Volunteer and help ensure children and youth in our community start the school year with confidence and the supplies they need. As a volunteer, you will support donation collection, organize supplies, engage with families, and contribute to a welcoming and empowering environment for participants.

What You Will Do
- Assist with sorting, organizing, and assembling school‑supply kits for students
- Support donation intake by greeting donors, receiving items, and tracking inventory
- Help set up and maintain distribution stations during the event
- Engage with families and youth, providing guidance and answering questions
- Support promotional efforts by sharing event updates and encouraging community participation
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event flow and a positive experience for all attendees

- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of small groups
- Patient, respectful, and supportive when working with seniors
- Ability to guide discussions and encourage participation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail in preparing slides and handouts
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to adapt communication style to different learning needs
- Commitment to completing basic training
- Fluency in English
