We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while providing outstanding customer service. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, maintain cleanliness in the café, and ensure that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations and dining areas.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure all products are stored properly.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work setting.
Requirements
- Food industry experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others.
