Bid Analyst - Remote Work
We at BairesDev are seeking a Bid Analyst to craft persuasive, high-quality proposals and responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for custom software development and IT professional services engagements. This role requires exceptional English writing and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of how software development projects are structured and delivered through modern frameworks such as SDLC and Agile.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end creation of proposals and RFx responses for project-based IT and software development engagements.
- Synthesize diverse inputs from technical, delivery, and commercial teams into structured, client-focused narratives.
- Write and refine executive summaries, delivery approaches, value propositions, and differentiators to effectively communicate key messages.
- Ensure responses are strategically positioned, technically feasible, and commercially competitive.
- Manage proposal schedules, stakeholder reviews, and final submissions to meet deadlines with quality and precision.
- Partner with Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, and Sales Executives to ensure proposals reflect accurate delivery logic and business goals.
- Develop and maintain reusable proposal content including case studies, delivery narratives, success stories, and templates.
- Create presentation materials and sales collateral to support presales discussions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and content libraries.
What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT outsourcing, consulting, or professional services, with hands-on involvement in developing proposals and RFP/RFI responses for software development or IT delivery engagements.
- Demonstrated experience writing and structuring proposals for software development or IT delivery projects.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and delivery frameworks such as Agile and Scrum.
- Knowledge of engagement models and pricing structures including Time & Materials, Fixed-Price, and Managed Services.
- Understanding of project phases such as Discovery, Design, Build, QA, and Deployment.
- Proven ability to interpret technical or delivery input and convert it into persuasive business narratives.
- Outstanding English writing and communication skills, able to create concise, executive-level documents for global audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- High proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack is a plus.
- Familiarity with UX/UI, AI, or digital transformation concepts is a plus.
