We are looking for a reliable employee to join our team at Newcastle Marina ("Seasonal" end of October with possibility of extension.)
Key Responsibilities: The shipyard labourer will assist in the day-to-day operations of the shipyard. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong worth ethic and a willingness to work in a physical demanding setting
Assisting with lifting and blocking of Boats.
Power washing & Painting
Ensuring equipment is stored and yard is clean.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications
Ability to work as a team and be self directed
Follow Safety Protocols and wear personal protective equipment
Must have good time management skills
Ability to work in outdoors & physically demanding conditions.
Willingness to learn a new variety of tasks
Previous experience with boats is a plus but not mandatory The Seasonal position is available immediately, Monday - Friday.
