Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, rolls, and baked goods. Laminated dough for croissants and Danish pastries from scratch
- Mix, knead, proof, and shape dough with precision and care to achieve optimal texture and flavour
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Package baked products attractively for display or takeout, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks for other bakery items and support overall kitchen operations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when neededRequirements
- Proven experience in baking, preferably in a restaurant or bakery setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Skills food preparation, and general cooking techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude toward customers and team members
