The Role

We are looking for an energetic and attentive Breakfast Server to help us set the tone for our guests’ day. As a Breakfast Server at The Little Sparo, you will deliver warm, efficient, and welcoming service during our morning dining hours — ensuring every guest starts their day with an exceptional experience, whether they’re hotel guests or local visitors.

Please note: team members may occasionally be assigned to support service at Regners Bar, located upstairs, during high-volume periods.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests warmly, creating a welcoming start to their morning

Provide attentive, efficient service during breakfast hours in an upscale-casual dining setting

Deliver knowledgeable descriptions of our breakfast menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings

Take accurate food and beverage orders, process payments, and manage tables using Maître D POS software

Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders

Maintain a clean, organized, and properly set dining room before, during, and after breakfast service

Monitor and replenish buffet stations, coffee service, and condiments as applicable

Anticipate guest needs and handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies with care

Assist with breakfast opening and closing duties, including setup,



side work, and breakdown

Support service at Regners Bar upstairs when needed during busy periods

Uphold all health, safety, and responsible beverage service standards

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a restaurant or hotel dining workplace (required)

Experience with Maître D POS software is a strong asset

Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch service, including coffee and beverage preparation

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills A morning-ready attitude — punctual, positive, and energized for early starts

Polished, professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality

Ability to work flexible morning hours, including weekends and holidays

Smart Serve certification (or provincial equivalent) required

Comfortable working in a hotel restaurant environment with both hotel and walk-in guests
