Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our agile procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services essential to our manufacturing operations. Your expertise in vendor management, pricing strategies, and supply chain processes will ensure seamless procurement activities that support production schedules and business growth.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify the best suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Manage vendor relationships through ongoing communication, performance evaluations, and negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and coordinate procurement activities aligned with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) schedules.
- Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to optimize purchasing decisions and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, logistics,



and quality assurance to align procurement plans with production needs.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and supply chain best practices.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audit purposes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms used for supply chain management.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, negotiation, and sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes including inventory control, pricing analysis, and MRP systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting supplier relationships.
- Ability to analyze market data and leverage sourcing tools to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Experience working with procurement software, ERP systems, or other supply chain management tools is highly desirable.
