Western Cannabis is expanding their cultivation operations and is looking to hire 1-2 full time Grow Associates to join their growing team to help keep up with the high demand!

Description:

Working closely under the direction of the Master Grower, Post Harvest Manger, and QA department, the Grow Associates are responsible for, but not limited to, the maintenance/cleanliness of the grow area, along with assisting the Grow Team with cultivation and maintenance of cannabis plants.

As a full time employee, your hours of employment would consist either

Five 8 hour shifts - Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or

Four 10 hours shifts - Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday - 7:00am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to maintain compliance with Western Cannabis and Health Canada regulations
- Daily cleaning and sanitization duties to maintain a clean and organized work/grow environment
- Assist in the cultivation and maintenance of cannabis plants throughout their lifecycle




- Perform tasks such as pruning, transplanting, and harvesting plants
- Completing daily records and documents
- Participate in regular training sessions

Candidate Profile:

- MUST BE RELIABLE
- No cannabis experience necessary
- High School Diploma or higher
- Be physically able to perform the duties of the position; including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50lbs), and sitting on a regular basis
- Must be ok working in an environment that is bright, loud, and aromatic.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Takes initiative and is a self starter
- Ability to work independently and safely in a group environment
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check

All employees must be 19+ Job Type: Full-time
