We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cardiology Technologist to join our team in a flexible, part-time role. This position is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule, already works part-time or casually, or wants to maintain clinical skills without full-time commitment.
Schedule
- Regular shift: Fridays
- Optional: Additional Thursdays (based on availability and clinic needs)
- Opportunity to provide coverage for vacation and leave
- 8 hour shifts
- Monday-Friday, no weekends

Wage: $37.00-46.00 Compensation dependent upon experience. The Cardiology Technologist performs cardiology diagnostic testing procedures such as Exercise stress tests independently , ECG's, Holter hookup and event monitor hookup in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
Example of Duties/Accountabilities
- Explains and performs treadmill stress tests working independently without the direction of a physician. Determine when to terminate the test and if necessary, initiate emergency protocol.
- Performs holter monitor, event monitor hook up, scans and prepares reports for physicians.
- Maintains equipment by cleaning and replenishing supplies. Ensures equipment is in good working order. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized program in Cardiology Technology.
- 1 year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. (preferred)
- Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.
- Current registration with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC)
- Current CPR certification.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of and the ability to operate all equipment related to the position.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with others effectively and function as an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated physical ability to perform the duties of the position
- Solid attention to detail with the ability to ensure accurate data collection and quality recordings
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistency in a weekly schedule
- Familiarity with Philips holter system and basic computer proficiency
