Job Summary

We are a busy general contracting company that has been in operation since 1967. We pride ourselves in delivering quality workmanship in a variety of construction environments - from custom-built homes and renovations, to commercial transformations and restorations. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenters Helper/Apprentice to join our construction team.

In this role, you will assist experienced carpenters in executing a variety of building projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience across various aspects of carpentry and construction. This position offers an excellent prospect to develop your skills in carpentry and construction while contributing to high-quality projects. Requirements

- Minimum of 1-5 years experience with hand and power tools
- Must have your own steel toe safety boots, tools, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves.
- Valid driver's license in good standing and own reliable transportation is required.
- Working at Heights,



WHMIS and safety training would be an asset.

Responsibilities

- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
- Support the installation of drywall, flooring, siding, roofing, and other building components
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Prepare work sites by loading and unloading materials, setting up scaffolding, framing, and other projects as needed
- Perform general labor tasks involving heavy lifting
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
