Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused cashier to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and supporting merchandising efforts in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales and organizational skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

This position is part time/casual consisting of anywhere from 16-40 hours a week. We are looking for someone who has a very adaptable schedule and will be available to work Monday-Saturday, 9:00 - 5:30 on weekdays and 9:00 - 3:00 on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries using effective phone etiquette and communication skills
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandising displays, ensuring products are well-organized and visually appealing
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions,



resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Support the store’s organizational needs by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficient workflow
- Handle cashiering duties including basic math calculations for transactions

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or merchandising is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
- Employee MUST be 19 years of age or above as BC Lottery is sold at this location. Lotto training course will be provided upon employment.
