Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and upselling relevant items
- Maintain organized merchandising at checkout counters to enhance the shopping experience
- Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and security protocols during all transactions
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and assisting with product organization as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, with solid cash handling skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transaction processing
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash registers, and basic merchandising techniques
- Strong customer service orientation with friendly phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Good organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous technical sales experience or product demo skills are advantageous but not required; training will be provided for specific product knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
