Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified /Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dental practice at downtown, Vancouver. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Experience with dental software and a strong understanding of dental terminology are highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative workplace focused on delivering high-quality dental services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and orthodontics.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, and complex treatments
- Manage patient records using Tracker
- Take and develop digital radiographs (CAD experience is a plus)
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/out processes, acting as a Dental Receptionist when needed




- Assist with orthodontic procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards
- Support the team with inventory management of dental supplies

Experience

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Familiarity with Tracker dental software is highly recommended
- Knowledge of orthodontics and medical terminology is advantageous
- Experience with CAD for digital imaging or restorations is a plus
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training is required or preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages are essential
