Drive with purpose at the National Diabetes Trust as a Charitable Donation Pickup Driver. This part time role, up to 29 hours a week, involves collecting donations and delivering them safely. As a critical part of our operations, the Pickup Driver collaborates with the Operations Manager to follow established routes in collecting donated items from the community.
You'll promote National Diabetes Trust's mission, operate vehicles safely, and ensure compliance with all regulations. With a focus on customer service, you will provide support to donors and ensure smooth operations throughout the day. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive established routes to collect donations
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Complete daily paperwork and Hours-of-Service Logs
- Communicate effectively with donors and dispatch
- Unload merchandise and return equipment at day’s end Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Full Class 5 or G license with clean record
- Minimum 5 years driving experience
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
