With oversight of all financial operations, you'll develop and implement strategies for budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Collaborate with the Chief Administrative Officer to align financial objectives with community priorities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial strategy and planning for the organization
- Oversee budgeting, accounting, and audits
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions
- Support discussions with lenders on economic development Requirements:
- CPA designation required; CAFM an asset
- Five years in senior financial management
- Experience with ISC and FNHA funding agreements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of Lax Kw’alaams culture and community Utilize analytical and strategic planning skills to maximize financial sustainability at Lax Kw’alaams.
