We are seeking a responsible, caring, reliable, and experienced Child Care Provider to provide attentive care and supervision to children in a private home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment while assisting with the children’s daily routines and needs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in the employer’s private home.
- Maintain a secure, clean, and healthy environment for the children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the children’s care.
- Wash, iron, and press children’s clothing and household linens.
- Keep accurate records of the children’s daily activities and health information.
- Monitor and support the children’s daily routines and well-being.
- Ensure the children are properly supervised and cared for at all times.
- Perform other related child care duties as required.
Employment Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience in child care or a related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English or French.
- References may be required.
- Ability to work responsibly and independently in a private home environment.
