Collaboration with medical teams and community partners will be crucial in your role to ensure comprehensive support. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess emotional and psychosocial needs of pediatric patients
- Prepare children for medical procedures and surgeries
- Organize and manage donations and supplies
- Facilitate on-site visits with community partners
- Supervise Child Life Specialist interns and support volunteers Requirements:
- Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) required
- Master's degree in Pediatric Psychosocial Care preferred
- 2+ years healthcare experience with children
- Knowledge of child development and impacts of illness
