About the job:
Meraki Construction is hiring a full-time Civil Construction Foreman for the Tachie Road Reconstruction Project. The Foreman will provide leadership and oversight of daily site operations, ensuring crews, subcontractors, and equipment are coordinated to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to project specifications.
Working closely with the Project Management team, the Foreman will lead field operations, promote a strong safety culture, and support quality control and production to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide daily site supervision and leadership
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site
- Coordinate crews, equipment, and daily work activities
- Coordinate with subcontractors to support project requirements
- Manage quality control and monitor production progress
- Identify and address field issues to support efficient project execution
- Work collaboratively with the Superintendent and Project Management team
- Support the successful completion of road construction activities, including earthworks and culvert installation
About you:
- Strong heavy civil construction experience is required
- Previous supervisory or Foreman experience is preferred
- Experience with road construction, municipal projects, or highway construction is an asset
- Strong understanding of construction processes, production requirements, and quality standards
- Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple activities in an active construction environment
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to following safe work practices
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a remote project environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Project Details:
- Location: Tache, BC (approximately 45 minutes north of Fort St. James)
- Project Duration: August 2026 - November 2026, (possibility of project extension)
- Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off
- Travel assistance available for eligible out-of-town employees
- Living Out Allowance (LOW) available per day worked

Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour
