- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering, construction supervision, contract management, infrastructure design review, and implementation follow-up.
Minimum Years Of Relevant Work Experience
- Experience in reviewing technical designs, BoQs, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
- Experience in reviewing payment invoices, measurement sheets,
and implementation documents.
- Experience in preparation of tender documents and participation in tender evaluations.
- Experience in preparation of technical reports, NTFs, and contract amendment documents.
- Experience in coordination with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Valuable command of engineering software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ETABS, and MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of international construction standards and FIDIC contract conditions is an asset.
- A proven track of excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and liaison with local authorities.
- Knowledge of UNDP program management and financial procedures and policies.
- Knowledge and working experience with UNDP, the United Nations system, and INGOs particularly with governance and recovery program.
Required Language(s)
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
