Central Prairie Cartage is currently looking to grow its Red Deerterminal! We are looking for a City P&D; Driverto work Monday to Friday starting at 7:00am.

We are a diversified, general freight carrier offering both LTL & TL services in Alberta.

As a Class 1 City Pick-Up & Delivery Driver you load and unload your truck while completing pick-ups and deliveries around the Red Deer and surrounding area. Duties will include;

- Complete pick up and deliveries in and around Red Deer using a 53-foot trailer, pup, or body job.
- Responsible for assisting with loading and unloading of truck and safe operation of pallet jack, forklift, and power walker.
- Complete daily logs and comply with hours-of-service regulations.
- Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle.




- Manual lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Overtime required.

The ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 operator’s license
- 2-5 years driving experience
- Deck experience is an asset
- General knowledge of the freight industry
- Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding safe operation of commercial vehicles, hours of service, and handling of dangerous goods
- Positive attitude with the ability to work alone or in a team setting
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
