Fath Industries are looking for an experienced, and safety-conscious Class 1 Truck Driver to work seasonally in a full time capacity with our Cold Milling Crews, in various locations throughout Edmonton.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with various Foreman, Superintendents and Coordinate various construction activities
- Drive a variety of trucks in a safe manner following transportation driving laws
- Must be able to perform necessary pre/post-trip inspections on vehicles and ensure regular greasing & washing of trucks & trailers
- Safely Operate different Milling equipment as required
- Assist with general laborer tasks as required
- Ensure safety compliance is adhered to at all times
- Attend and contribute to weekly safety meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience driving commercial trucks or operating milling equipment is required.
- Must possess a valid class 1 driver’s license (with air endorsement) with clean drivers abstract.
- Minimum High School education or equivalent is required.
- Pre-Trip & Fatigue Management Experience training will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure is required.
- Ability to communicate in a respectful manner at all times is required.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions is required.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision is required.
- Familiarity & experience with city driving and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends is required.
- Valid safety certifications
Additional Information:
- This is a seasonal position.
- This position is eligible for over-time.
- Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required.
- Training will be provided for various activities.
- We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your benefits during the winter months (off-season).
- There is potential for on-call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season
- Seasonal work; Long hours; 6-7 days/week at peak season (Weekends as well)
