We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Roofing Foreman who thrives on the job site alongside their crew. The ideal candidate brings extensive background across all commercial flat roofing systems, with deep expertise in hot roof application, specifically Built-Up Roofing (BUR) and Modified Bitumen systems. Your focus will be driving crew productivity, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship, and running a safe, tight job site.
Responsibilities
- Field Leadership: Work directly alongside and guide crews on-site to execute commercial flat roofing projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Hot Roof Execution: Serve as the subject matter expert on hot asphalt BUR and Modified Bitumen installations, ensuring proper torching, mopping, and detail work.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce safety compliance and maintain strict quality control standards across all installation phases.
- Basic Documentation:
Use mobile job-site management apps to quickly log daily progress reports, safety checks, and crew time.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience leading crews on commercial flat roofing projects.
- Specialized expertise in hot roof applications (asphalt BUR and Mod Bit systems required; TPO, EPDM, or PVC knowledge is a plus).
- Solid working knowledge of commercial roofing tools, equipment, and hot-pipe setup.
- Comfortable using basic tablet or smartphone apps for site reporting and team communication.
- Strong leadership style built on setting the standard by example on the roof.
Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
Experience
- Commercial Foreman: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
