The Community Integration Services
Branch is seeking a Community Integration Specialist. In this on-site role, you will engage with individuals facing homelessness, mental health challenges, or addiction. You'll coordinate housing inspections, manage cases, and facilitate expedited intakes, working 80-85% of the time in the community to foster independence and connection. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate intensive case management for clients
- Conduct expedited intakes and coordinated housing inspections
- Connect individuals to government and community services
- Build meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Promote community integration for individuals in need Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation and 3 years of related experience
- Experience providing services in community or customer service settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches
- Valid BC driver’s license within 13 months
