Duties

- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements.
- Support skilled workers by handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up necessary equipment for tasks such as concrete forming, masonry, or framing.
- Help with installation tasks including cabinetry, flooring, tile laying, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and caulking.
- Participate in concrete finishing, concrete forming, masonry work, and drywall restoration to ensure quality craftsmanship.
- Aid in construction painting and surface preparation to meet project specifications.




- Follow safety protocols diligently while assisting with the operation of heavy machinery and ensuring a secure work environment.

Requirements

- Prior construction experience or familiarity with construction sites preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of electrical experience, plumbing systems, masonry techniques, welding basics, flooring installation, tile laying or related skills is a plus.
- Strong teamwork attitude with excellent communication skills.
