Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport orders from the restaurant to customers’ locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload deliveries, moving items efficiently and carefully
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of completed orders
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness before each shift
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to coordinate timely pickups and deliveries
- Handle special requests or issues during delivery with professionalism and a positive attitude
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery services, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy tasks safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt deliveries within designated windows
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools for efficient deliveries
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
