Job Summary:
The Corporate Accounting Analyst is responsible for processing monthly journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, allocating costs, and actively participating in the month-end close process. This role supports the wider finance department to ensure accurate, timely reporting, while assisting with tax functions, audits, and ad-hoc corporate projects
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, intercompany transactions, cost allocations
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Collaboratively support the Accounting & Reporting team to meet tight reporting deadlines with precision
- Assist with corporate tax filings and provide required documentation and administrative support for internal and external audits
- Active involvement in accounting for new initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Additional duties, as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting, General Accounting, or a related accounting function
- Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close activities
- Working knowledge of General Ledger accounting principles and financial reporting processes
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and spreadsheet management
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, or a related accounting environment
- Experience with intercompany accounting, cost allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience supporting tax filings, internal audits, and external audits
- Construction industry accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial data analysis
- CPA designation or active progress toward CPA certification is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to support process improvements, special projects, and new business initiatives

- The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $75,000 DOE
